VOTING
The most important right
citizens have is the right to vote. By voting, the people have a
voice in the government. The League of Women Voters' position
on a Citizen's Right to Vote is to protect the right of all citizens
to vote and encourage all citizens to vote.
The League of
Women Voters believes that democratic government depends upon the
informed and active participation of its citizens at all levels
of government.
