Member Volunteers
Although membership
in the League doesn't require volunteering, our members have
found that the more time and talent they invest in the League, the
more they gain from membership.
Some activities
you can participate in as a LWV member include:
- Researching timely
issues for a study
- Distributing Voters'
Guides
- Testifying
at the Legislature
- Registering citizens
to vote
- Organizing candidate
forums
- Speaking about ballot
measures
- Writing letters to
the editor and op-eds
- Publishing newsletters
- Writing and distributing
press releases and PSAs
- Helping to determine
League priorities and actions
- Observing government
proceedings
- And many other exciting
and interesting projects!
If you are interested
in volunteering, contact your local
League or email
the League of Women Voters of Oregon for more information.
