ANNIE GOLDNER

I've lived in Bend since 2002 and joined the local LWV in 2004 when our local league was 1/3 the number of members it is in 2022. I've enjoyed being part of its maturation into a league that has learned to encourage its members to advocate for the community. I've been retired since the spring of 2020 and enjoyed several careers, beginning in nursing, then food importing, marketing, and returned to nursing while I operated a small bed and breakfast in Bend. Since moving to Bend, I've volunteered with several community service nonprofits, which has led me to truly appreciate the LWV's unique approach to speak as "one voice" and advocacy for public policy only after formal study of the issue.
