RONAN NAUERT (he/him)
Youth Policy Communications Chair
We warmly welcome Ronan Nauert, attending the International School of Beaverton, pursuing his IB diploma. Ronan has a long list of experiences, starting in 6th grade. He got his start as a social media activist in 6th grade, and by 7th grade, he was volunteering on local, state, and federal campaigns. By mid-8th grade year, he got his first opportunity in the political field, as a fellow at Grassroots Democrats HQ, where he helped to recruit volunteers, mobilize voters, and work with political data systems. After 8 months at Grassroots Democrats HQ, in August 2023, he joined TurnUp as an Intern, serving in that role until October, where he developed policy solutions to issues facing youth, and did grassroots activism.
On December 4th, 2023 he joined the youth council and preceded to be elected to a ground-breaking role with a strong, influential voice as the League of Women Voters of Oregon Youth Policy Communication Chair. Ronan is already making a difference and mentoring a new LWVOR Youth Council inviting youth across Oregon to get connected and involved by emailing him at nauertronan@gmail.com or messaging on their Instagram at @lwvoryouthcouncil. He is so excited to get to work and join the Youth Council.
