League Strikes Back Against Restrictive Voter ID Laws
Supreme Court recently ruled to uphold Indiana ’s voter identification law — the most restrictive in the nation. We are already seeing the negative effects of this law. The implications of the Supreme Court’s ruling reach far beyond Indiana.
Nationwide, it is estimated that as many as 11% of U.S. citizens don’t have government-issued photo identification— that is as many as 21 million Americans.
