Join the Promote the Vote Poster Contest!



Ready to become civic ambassadors in your community, engage your creative VOTE superpowers, and receive LWV Support for Democracy and Civic Badges? You can share your unique, artistic vision and knowledge of the democratic process by participating in the upcoming Promote the Vote Poster Contest!

Submissions will be reviewed for artistry, non-partisanship, and positive Promote The Vote messaging. Each submission will earn a Voter Girl Patch! Three winners will be selected. The contest runs from September 1 through October 9, 2026 at midnight.


Submission Guidelines:


  • Paper 11” wide by 17” high, no identifying information.

  • List what school(s), library, or other place you will display your poster(s). Email should include the troop leader/parent contact name, email, and phone number. Email the highest resolution PDF/JPEG Poster images possible to votergirl@lwvor.org.

  • Each poster PDF/JPEG image submitted must be labeled the following way:

    Troop Group Posters Entry: TROOPnumber-GROUP

    Troop Individual Poster Entry: TROOPnumber-SCOUTFIRSTNAMEONLY

    Individual Entry: ParentNAME,phonexxx-xxx-xxxx,SCOUTFIRSTNAMEONLY

  • Grades 6-12 Girl Scouts can Promote The Vote with authentic mock ballots for the 2026 General Election by asking their teachers to register ASAP for LWVOR Mock Student Election. Voting begins October 19!



Three winning posters will be professionally printed and displayed in collaborating libraries, LWV offices, and public settings alongside LWV Voter Guides and VOTE411 materials. The winning poster images will be used by LWVOR and GSOSW for social media, stickers and swag items, communications and future Promote The Vote campaigns. Three winners will be selected and notified by October 14, 2026. The winning posters and artists will be honored at this year’s STEM Day in Salem, OR on November 7, 2026.
